Little Brother…wishes you were here!
by femmehysterique
It’s a pretty cool story really, one of persistence and determination. Re-nound NZ fashion blogger Isaac Hindin-Miller started out ironing shirts and delivering stock for mens-wear label Little Brother, 10 years on and he’s the creative director for the brand.
“My first collection designed alongside Murray Crane for Little Brother is for Spring/Summer 2012/2013. The best bit is that I get to do it from New York City. It’s literally my dream job and I cannot wait to get cracking. Wish me luck!”
The collection is a return to the bones of the Little Brother brand – bringing back a bunch of those pieces that are so signature to LB, like the cotton drill Burnside pants, unstructured cotton Bedford blazers, printed tees and slim, tailored shirting. We focused on strong colours – maroon, olive green, navy and mustard – that demand attention when they’re worn with the more neutral tones in the collection. But the hero cloth of them all is the flecked Donegal chambray – you can get it in the shorts, you can get it in the shirt, or you can throw it on head to toe for a solid look.

Great post..love your work.
